The Diploma Programme is a rigorous, intense and challenging programme, created to prepare students for a brilliant university career and for their future professional objectives. Students must choose a subject from the six macro groups. Each student must choose at least three higher-level subjects (for a total of 240 teaching hours) and three standard level subjects (150 teaching hours).
At the end of the programme (usually in May of their second year), students must take the official IB exams for each of the subjects in their curriculum. The highest percentage of the final marks are represented by the exam results, which are assessed by an external committee.
